Rocky Road Candy

Janice Mc Arthur

2 T. margarine

1 (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips (any type of choc. chip will work)

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

2 c. dry-roasted peanuts

1 (10.5 oz.) package miniature marshmallows

In a saucepan, melt morsels with sweetened condensed milk and 2 T. margarine. Remove from heat and add peanuts and marshmallows. Stir thoroughly and spread onto waxed paper. You can drop by spoonfuls or spread out so you can cut it later. Chill for two hours.

NOTE: Unlike fudge, you do not want the marshmallows to melt, just coat them and the nuts with chocolate so it is like Rocky Road ice cream where you have pieces of marshmallow in each bite. Print Recipe
