Sweet-n-Sour Pork

Megan Boshard

1 lb. boneless pork cut in cubes

1 green pepper, sliced

A few baby carrots, sliced longways

1 small can chunk pineapple

Stir fry vegetables first, set aside, then stir fry pork until browned. Add vegetables. In the mean time, mix sauce ingredients.

Sauce:

2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce

1/4 c. vinegar

2 Tbsp. catsup

1/2 c. sugar

Juice from can of pineapple

1 clove garlic (I use garlic powder)

Poor sauce mixture over pork and vegetables over med-low heat. Stir fry and bring to a simmer. In a separate bowl mix 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch with 3 Tbsp. water. Mix until smooth. Stir into stir fry mixture until thickens. Serve over rice. Print Recipe
