Chocolate Caramel Bars

Talara Allphin

60 Kraft light caramels
½ C. evaporated milk

Melt together in double boiler and set aside.

Mix together:

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 C. nuts

¾ C. melted butter
1/3 C. evaporated milk

Press ½ of cake mixture into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350° for 8 min. Remove, and sprinkle 1 small bag of chocolate chips over top. Spread caramel mixture over chips (not quite to edge of pan). Crumble last ½ of cake mixture over caramel. Bake for 20 more minutes. Cool and cut. Print Recipe
