Peanut Butter cookies

Nancy Packer

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking pwd
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add soda, baking pwd. and salt. Add flour.
Make dough into 1" balls. Place on a greased
cookie sheet. Press an "X" with a fork into
each cookie. Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes. Print Recipe
