OVEN FRIED CHICKEN

Donna Brown

1 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
dash pepper

1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
4 oz potato chips*, crushed (2 cups crushed)

Cut up chicken or use already cut-up chicken. Dip pieces of chicken in butter, roll in chips. Place, skin side up and not touching, in grease jelly-roll pan. Sprinkle with remaining butter and crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees about 1 hour or till done. Do NOT turn.

*Or use 2 cups crushed barbecue chips, or 2 cups crushed cornflakes, or 3 cups crushed crisp rice cereal. My family prefers cornflakes. Print Recipe
