Missy’s Homemade Oreo Cookies

Cookies:
2 boxes Duncan Hines Devil’s Food cake mix
4 eggs
½ c. shortening

Filling:
3 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
½ butter


Cookies: Preheat oven to 350. Mix cookie ingredients together. If necessary, add 1 T. water. Dough will be very thick. Roll into 1” balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake 8 – 10 minutes. Drop cookie sheet on counter after baking to flatten cookies.
Filling: Beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth then add sugar. Spread filling on cookie and top with another. Print Recipe
