Barbeque Beans

Julie Hoffman

1 large can of Bush's original baked beans
5 strips of precooked bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces ( the recipe prefers
Hormel brand, but I use the precooked bacon "bits" you find next to the
croutons and salad dressing. They're a little bit smaller, but very easy.)
1/3 bottle (about 1/4 cup) good quality barbeque sauce (my favorite is Sweet
Baby Ray's from Walmart)
1/2 cup brown sugar

1. Drain most of the liquid from the beans and remove bacon chunks.
2. In your crock pot, combine beans, bacon, barbeque sauce, and sugar.
3. Stir all ingredients together.
4. Let cook in crock pt on low heat for 3 hours. The longer it simmers,
the better the flavors combine. Print Recipe
